Restoring a conditional access policy will update its settings and links to existing users, groups, and roles.
Restore a conditional access policy
1. In your connector, find the conditional access policy you want to restore.
2. Optional: If you want to restore an item from an earlier point in time, open the Snapshots Viewer. Then select the appropriate snapshot.
3. Point to the item and click ••• > Restore.
4. Select whether to restore missing policy users and groups.
These are included/excluded users and groups that have been deleted from the tenant.
- If you select Restore only this policy, click Next.
- If you select Also restore missing users and groups, click Next. Then select what users and groups to restore and click Next.
Note: Only missing users and groups will be created. Existing users and groups will not be updated.
5. Review the summary and click Restore.
